What Home Means to Me

Home to me is the smell of muffins cooling or stir fry cooking on the stove. Eating with my family. Going to my Grandma’s house for dinner. It could just be making cookies or banana bread. I love making cookies for my family. Homes aren't built with walls and beams and a roof instead they are built of memories, wonder, and magic. Homes aren’t just where you live it’s where you play, grow, laugh, and learn. When I think of home I think of memories and magic. Home is a chest filled with the best kind of treasures: laughter and love and dreams. homes are important. Some people don’t have a place to call home and that’s really sad. Home is swimming in the lake at my cabin or going on bike rides. Home is going to the mountains. Home is going to Canmore or Jasper. When I think of home I think of going skiing in Kananaskis. I just love going to the mountains.
