My Safe Place

Home is what you know and always have. At home you should feel safe. It sometimes is just the threads that binds your family together. When I am at home I see a mess on the counter full of plates , bowls and coffee cups. I also see white puffy snow in June. At home I hear laughter, joy and yes, love. Do you ever get home sick? Well I do and when I do I think about my beige, fluffy hamster, or the white peaked mountains. Home is where my heart is always. Why is home important? Well home is not a building with four walls. It is where you are loved and cared for. It is where your heart belongs. Home is where you feel safe, it’s your happy place. Home is a safe place where you can sleep. Oh when I taste my favourite food bamey, I feel right at home. Bamey is made with Japanese yam fries, sliced cucumbers and carrots, ground pork, sauces, cilantro and lime. Normally it's. served with cucumbers in one bowl, carrots in another, the yams are in the biggest bowl, and there are two types of meats, ground pork and my mom’s spicy pork. Normally when you start eating you mix your plate so that you can get all of it in one bite.
