Happy at Home

Home is a place of memories and love. The feeling of home for me is warm cookies just out of the oven still hot with melting chocolate chips. Home is fun board games in the living room with happy laughter and a crackling fire with a hockey game on the tv. Home feels as strong as a mountain. Home is heavy with great memories, pictures and entertainment. Every morning, beautiful piano music flows through the house to cheer everyone up. Home isn’t just a house, it’s also outside in your heart. Like the feeling of tight hockey skates on my feet at the outdoor rink. The sound of skates digging into the ice. Shots hitting the back of the net. After coming home the wonderful feeling of warmth in the air. During the Christmas season tons of our family comes to celebrate with us. During the Christmas season the house is full of the sounds of Christmas songs. Feasts and fun in the air. On Christmas Day we wait for everyone to wake up, then have breakfast, then open presents filled with love. Delicious dinners in the dining room packed with love. Amazing turkey, carrots and potatoes. Candles light up the whole room. We all know about the delicious home made apple pie for after dinner. Home is a time to get everyone together.
