I Love My Home

Home is the smell of my sweet mom cooking my favorite meal spaghetti. When I come back from school my mom and dad give me the sweetest hug. Like a blanket wrapping around my heart. When I have a bad day in gymnastics my family will give me more courage to go back. When I go to bed my blanket and pillows give me that feeling when I’m safe at my favorite shelter, my home. On the walls my favorite memories are of my dog that passed away. He was very special to me because he had been with me my whole life. He passed away last year but when I see him on the wall I always see him at home. When I come home I always feel welcome because a house is just a shelter but a home is a place that I love and captures memories that stick with me forever, like when my cousin that lives 8 hours away came to celebrate christmas with me. That is why people all across the world need a home because everyone needs to feel happy and safe with people they love and a roof over their head.
