What home means. By: Lachlan age 9 Home is not a place. Home is a feeling. Home is where the memories are. Home is where I am happy. Home is a place in my heart. Home is where my Dad makes bad Dad jokes. Home is where my dog barks at people that cross our street. Home is where my Mom makes me do chores. Home is the shattered window my friend broke. Home is where I feel safe. Home is the place I love. I want all kids to have a home. Home is a privilege. It makes me sad that kids have no home. I want to give homes to people who don’t have a home. Home is my happy place, and I want everyone to have a happy place.
