Home, not house

A house is a building, a mix of concrete, brick, wood, and stone. It's also a place, but it's not always a good and safe place. Houses can be ruined by a wrecking ball, they will stay crumbled and broken. While a home will stay strong and remain unbroken, bound together by love and family joy. A home is love, a home is filled with family, pets and memories. The smell of fresh baked bread, the sound of giggles in the playroom, the sight of the sunrise from the living room window will make an impact for years to come. Home is peaceful, home is love, home the best place of all. My home is a bungalow way out in the country on an acreage. I have a big dog who protects me and my family (he's also pretty naughty!) I have two amazing sisters and an amazing mom and dad who listen to my funny stories and who pray for me at night. We sit around the dinner table, connect, listen and embrace the safety and comfort of being at home as a family. To me this is a home.
