Home To Me

Home is where you sleep in warm and cozy blankets and soft pillows and a nice soft bed where you make your forts. In the kitchen, you can smell freshly warm baked cookies from your mom. On the couch is where we watch TV, play boring games, and laugh at jokes that sometimes you can’t stop laughing at. Home keeps you safe like a shield from the world. It’s where you can relax on your soft bed filled with soft stuffies and toys. When you come home from a hard day, it's where you unwind and feel loved. When you're taking a shower, the water washes away the stuff you did. When you eat, you come to gather where you share laughter, jokes and love for each other. When I am home I feel loved and cared for. When I open the door it's like a wave of fun, laughter and the sounds of cooking. The wall’s old memories of your first steps and your first words are a constant reminder. Each picture on the wall tells your story to everyone. When you come in and you see everyone it puts a smile on your face. It shapes your family. When you leave it’s like saying goodbye to the world. Nothing is better than being at home.
