What is Home?

What is home? Home is not just four walls and a roof it is a place for love, comfort, and supportness. When you step in your house you can feel the invitingness coming towards you. The coats and shoes hold the best memories and the worst. When you sit on the sofa it is like you sink into the cushions and when the blanket wraps around you it feel the memories of joy, annoyance, and sadness come to you. Home replenishes, energizes you after a long day of school or work. The photos on the walls and on the shelves are like a story book that goes on forever and ever which you keep on adding to. The kitchen smells like a restaurant with your mom cooking the best dishes that make you smile, and delighted by seeing it. You can hear the frying pan sizzling and refrigerator humming a familiar rhythm. The bedroom is like your comfort place where you let out all your sadness, angerness, and sadness. When you slam the door you can hear the house shake a bit. Where you drop on your bed after school or work and throw the blanket over yourself and take a sigh of relief. Stepping down the creaky, old, dusty stairs of the basement hold your old things tucked away and holding all the old, joyful, fun memories of you and them. And when you would turn off the lights and run upstairs so nothing could catch you then slam the door as hard as you can so nothing would grab you. When you go to the dining table you and your family sit around it while you and your sibling start annoying each other you can see your parents bringing around the food that looks the BEST. You can feel the laughter, supportness, comfort, and the love spreading everywhere. When you open the backyard door you can remember all the memories you and your family had there. The cheerful, jolly, and bitter moments. When the rain comes pouring down you and family stay inside all together sharing the love around you. It's not just us humans that need a house there are also animals that need a home so it's not just people that need a house it's for everybody. Home is a place where fighting and gloom should not spread, it is a place where love should blossom.
