What home means to me

My house is a place, a place I call home, a home where I feel safe, loved and not alone. My home is like a shield, a shield to protect me and even bad dreams that are not even real. My home is filled with people I cherish and love the people who are my family, a family I can trust. A home is not just about what you put in it, it’s about making memories and being with family. When I feel down from a rough day but when I come home I feel calm and happy. In my living room we watch movies and play games, in my kitchen we laugh and talk and eat delicious meals that my mom and dad make. When I come home from school and I come in the door my puppy is waiting for me wagging his tail, and waiting for me to go on the couch so we can cuddle. I love my home.
