Why my Home is Special to Me

Why is my home special to me? My Home is more than a house. It's a place that makes me feel safe when I am sad or mad. My family and I watch movies every Saturday, and cook eggs every day when we don`t have school. Home is my cat sleeping on my lap, playing with my turkey and hens outside, and making dough boys while my mom makes soup. Home is me and my dad going down to the cabin to watch scary movies. It’s helping my nan make pancakes for me and my cousin. When my best friend comes over, we like to make slime and play with dolls and listen to Green Day on the CD player that I got for Christmas. Home is making bracelets with my sister, packing lunches for school and making cupcakes for dessert. I look at my phone when it rains, and when it's sunny, I go outside. In the summer, I swim with my dad. Home is not just a house. Everybody deserves a welcoming home.
