Meaning Of Home

The place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household. That is what comes up when you search up “definition of home” But the word “home” has a different meaning every time you use it. Every one has a different home. Most people use it as a word to refer to where they live, but the word “home” has another meaning too. This definition may not apply to everyone, but this is how I define my ‘home’. Home is a place where you feel safe, loved, and protected. It gives you a feeling of ‘I feel like me’. Where you can do what you want to do, what you try to do, and what you need to do. Home is like a warm hug with open and welcoming arms. Home is where you learn, play, and work. Home is the place where your ideas spark, then turn into a big fire that does not die. Home is where I can talk to the people I trust. Home is where I am loved. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people the life they need, and making the world a better place to live.
