One day I woke up in the morning and was really sad knowing that that was my last day living in the little village on the North Island of New Zealand. It was hard knowing that tomorrow I will wake up in Vancouver, Canada on the other side of the world. It was hard leaving my family and friends at my school in the little village of Paparimu. It was hard leaving my best friend since I have known him since we were only months old. And his funny little brother always made me laugh. Honestly, I miss all my friends. There were only 35 kids in the whole school so I knew everyone's name and where they lived. I lived on a 335 acre farm where my Mom and Dad had fun. Fun, like riding in the side by side and tractors. Fun, like seeing my dog make everything go wrong. Chasing the cows and jumping the fence! Unfortunately, we couldn't afford to keep the house going after my Dad had a tractor accident and didn't make it which was terrible. Then I moved to Canada and met new friends. What I’ve learned is that home is more than just a place you grow up in. It is the place where you have fun.
