My home is a place I go to feel safe There I see a beautiful face I feel happy and love You don’t need a dove You feel so much joy There can’t be a decoy There is care Love is not rare A house is a room The scent may not be like perfume But a home is a place Filled with love and grace It is also an inviting place It is where I feel loved Where no one feels unloved Everyone is kind No one gives someone a piece of their mind A house is very strange But a home will not need to change
