My Home

My home is a place I can rely on. A place that no clone can clone. When I’m having a bad day, I come home to a loving, helpful family. It's hard to leave it all behind when I go to school. I went to Greece this summer. It was beautiful, but I missed my cat, my family, and my home. Did you know you can have two homes? Well I do. I have one in Greece. It's an old, little house with stray cats, lots of figs, oranges, lemons, and limes. I feel at home there too. My home is a place I recognize in a heartbeat. My home is a box full of memories from when I took my first steps and my first words. My home is a bunch of my favorite meals and cultural foods like Greek or Lebanese foods. A house is wood or bricks. A HOME is family, memories, food, culture, good times and bad times. A home can never be just a house.
