My Home

Home is a place where my family all love me and love each other. Home is a place where my mom cooking fills our kitchen with the Dominican smell of yaroa or pico de gallo. Home is excitement when mama announces that it’s movie night along with popcorn and ice cream with toppings. Home is laughing in the basement as my 3 year old "brotato-chip"/brother tries on my dog's shirt. Home is a place where I, you, and everyone should feel loved and safe. Home is a place where I can take a walk with my Pomeranian, Mozie. Home is not about the structure or the tiles or the color of your house on the outside or inside. It’s about the people and about the ones who love you. Who loves you for who you are.
