The Meaning Of Home

Home is the smell of my dad cooking supper. It's the sound of me and Declan playing Steal a Brainrot on his private server. It's the warmth of my mom kissing me to bed - not from the blankets, but from the kiss. Home is where I laugh with my friends as we build a fort in my basement. It's the scritch-scratch of the mouse as we snuggle up on the couch after supper. Home is the place I feel safe and happy. A house is a structure, a place, but home is where I make memories and where I want to be with my family my friends - and yes even my brother.
