The Definition of Home

The definition of home is not just a building or a house, it’s the memories you make with your family. It’s the memories you have with them. The delicious food you eat, the time you spend with them, that one time you went to a place together. That feeling of joy you have won’t be the same without them. Even if it’s about your siblings you find annoying. If I had to say something about myself, I was born in the U.S. If I had to be honest, if I were to go to Bangladesh, I would do it because that’s where most of my family members live, even though I’m not from there. I still like my home. It's just that if I were to visit them I would be a lot happier even if it’s not my home sometimes, because home is where your family is. Appreciate the time you spend with your family and the place you live in before it’s too late, because without your old home and your family things will be different. You’ll feel sadness and regret about not doing the things you should've done. So if you’re reading this, make sure to appreciate your home and the people in it. I thank the “Meaning of Home Writing contest” for reminding me how important our homes are and I thank “Habitat for Humanity” for raising money to give people homes of their own.
