Home is my Everything

Home means a lot of things to other people. To other people homes means a cozy, comfortable and a valuable place to be. To me, home means a safe place where I am protected from all the danger that might happen if I don’t have a home. Also, home is not just walls, doors, windows and a roof. Home is a place where I have a roof on my head to protect me from anything falling like rain, food on the table to eat so I don’t get hungry, and a comfortable bed in a room to sleep when I'm tired or want to regain my energy. Home means everything to me. Home is a place where you can store all your memories and moments. Home is also a place to be happy because what makes me happy is being with my family at home. Without a home I can’t have a table to eat, a bed to sleep, and devices to entertain myself. Home means you can hang up pictures on the wall of showing appreciation to the house. Home holds a lot of memories even the painful or scary ones too. Home is also a place to do homework or a place to calm down if I am stressed. It is there for your highs and lows and you come and live inside of it every single day. Home is also a place to be with your family and have fun with them by playing games, watching movies or anything that is fun together. It is also a place to express myself without fear of judgement or criticism. Home is also a place to celebrate traditions, culture or any religious events such as Christmas, Diwali and Thanksgiving. This is what home means to me.
