What is Home?

What is home? Home is a place to feel safe. Home is a place to come to after a long day of work or school. Home is the place where you grew up. Home is the place where you learned how to ride a bike, where you learned how to walk your way to your mama and dada’s arms. Home is where you made all your memories, like your first words. Home is a special place where you come home to every night. Home is also a blessing that not everyone has, so if you have a home, you’re lucky. When I come home, I smell my mom's cooking, my sisters' candles, and the love that my house is filled with. I come home to my comfy room, my special place, my calm place, the place where I play, talk to my friends, help my cousins, hang out with my friends, where I do everything. What does your home feel like? What do you like to do at home? I have a loving family that also calls home their special place. I like to read in my special place, and I will read and read till the end.​
