The Meaning of Home

To me, home means a warm, cozy, relaxed hug from my mom. When I get home from school, I always smell my mom’s delicious, healthy cooking. At home it feels like my dad and I are slashing each other in an intense mini sticks battle. To me home tastes like my mom’s homemade super tender chicken. Home sounds like me playing recorder or piano, hockey sticks banging together, me watching TV, and my dad snoring or typing on his phone. At home it looks like me relaxing on my couch, it also looks like me doing my homework. When I am at home, I also like doing arts and crafts, and building Lego peacefully. I also know that I am at home, because I watch sports games with my dad, and I cheer for the team that I want to win. Overall, home means a cozy and relaxing place, a tight hug, playing hockey in my basement, and my mom’s homemade cooking.
