In My Home

After school I go home and say home is not just a shelter. When I sit on my favorite spot on the couch it feels like the place I belong. At 6:00 pm I watch t.v and I smell my mom’s food. When I taste the food it tastes delicious. The living room is like a play station where we play games. The kitchen is like a cafe where we get yummy food that I have tasted before. My bedroom is where I study so I can get smart. Home is not just a shelter, it is the place I feel loved, safe, and relaxed. Imagine you are in the best hotel and you will not feel comfortable, but if you sleep at home you will feel so comfortable. My dad is like a hero because he protects my sister and I. My mom is like a chef because she cooks and cares for us. My sister is like a play robot because she always plays with me and follows me around. I love my family. Home is a place where I can share my feelings instead of keeping them all smooshed in my heart. I feel sad for people that do not have a home but I hope they get one. Thank you habitat for humanity.
