A Home is more than a House

A home is more than a house because a home is supposed to feel safe. If you don’t feel safe then that is not a home. A home is somewhere you can look forward to coming back to when you get back from a long day at work or at school. Somewhere where you can just jump on your bed and play on your electronics and watch television with the people you love and people that are close to you in your heart. A house is temporary where you might only have a blow up mattress on your floor, you don’t feel as safe as you would in a forever home, and you walk in cautions of all your surroundings and sit calmly down on your bed. A home might have your own room and you have posters of singers you love, pictures of you and your family. A house might have empty walls of paint or concrete, no pictures, no posters, no bright colours, just a dark room. A home has forever owners, a house has no forever owner. That is what home means to me but what do you think home is?
