Home is More than a Place

Home is more than a place, it’s where I feel secure. A space where I feel safe, warm, and sure. Home can’t be destroyed, bought, or sold, it’s a feeling I have, a relief I hold. Home isn’t just walls or a blank space, it’s something I remember no matter where the place. My home gives me warm, cozy hugs when I’m feeling sad, like a cup of tea with cookies on days that are bad. When I see home I just feel at ease, it is the place I like to be. When I'm in my home I can feel safe, and I can feel free. Home is more than just a place, it’s my happy space. A feeling that others just cannot erase. Home is more than walls, a roof, and floors, it is a space where you feel warm when you are cold. Home is more than a place, or a thing, it has a space in my heart, it is always where I start. It doesn't matter if I am sad, home always makes me feel glad.
