Welcome Home

As I wake up I look through the window to see the rain and the snow, I hear my dog softly barking below. The sweet smell of apple crisp fills the air, My home is a place filled with love and with care. We get ready for the day our clothes all laid out, We rush through the door without a doubt. Our skis all packed up in the trunk ready to go, To the place full of hills, ice and snow. Home is a place where we’re all together, No matter where or whenever. We drive hours and hours to the place we love and we know, Back to the place we all call home. Home is a place no matter where, When my families all together, Full of joy and laughter, As we sit and we stare, at the place we call home.
