Home
This is what home means to me.
I see my family doing household chores. I also see my cats play-fighting. I see all my belongings, right where they should be. I have a lot of craft supplies on a table in the living room. I look out the window and see my mom’s garden. It feels nice.
I love what my home smells like. The candles smell like citrus fruits. During the evening, my dad lights some incense sticks. My mom sometimes makes rice called khichuri, they smell strong and delicious. I smell my lemon-flavored dish soap in my kitchen.
I feel so many things. I feel my cat’s soft, fluffy pelt. I feel washed away by the calamity. I touch cool paper during my art. I wash my hands with cold water in my kitchen. I feel the hard, plastic covers of books when I'm reading.
I hear music BLASTING aloud from my speaker. My cats make loud noises while playing, I also hear them purring when they get treats. I hear hissing as my mom cooks noodles. I play the violin for practice.
I love everything I taste in my home. I taste the light air as I'm walking. I taste the sweet dessert my mom makes. I can taste cool water and drinks. I love what I taste at home.
