Frankie’s New Home

Frankie was just an ordinary 7 year old kid that lived in Los Angeles. He had a nice house, a beloved dog, loving parents, and a good life, until… something horrible happened, The Los Angeles Fire. Frankie lost everything. He and his family weren't the only people who lost their homes. Many others did too. The fire was huge, it took down their whole house. Frankie lost all his toys, all of his clothes, his beloved dog and everything else. Frankie was very sad. His parents told him they will have a new home very soon. Fortunately, he and his family found a new tiny home in Glendale. After a month, Frankie’s parents asked him if he was still sad, surprisingly he said “Yes.” His parents asked him, “Why?” Frankie said, “I just don’t feel like being at home; when I can’t play with my dog, I loved him.” After his parents heard this, they were the most disappointed they have ever been. They thought to themselves, we can never get the same dog that Frankie had. They couldn't replace a loved one; they needed help. They asked for help from every family member, and every friend, until… one of their friends told them they could buy a bigger house with more entertainment. They felt there was still a chance with this plan. That’s when the miracle happened, they had a bigger and more decent house with a pool and lots of entertainment. After a month his parents asked him, “Does here feel like home to you?” He said “No.” They asked him “ Why? we did everything we could to keep you entertained.” He told them the same reason as last time. Moral of the story: a home isn't a home without a loved one.
