The Best Place in The World

It was nine year old Jacob’s first day of school and he didn't have any friends to talk to. Then he saw some other boys talking to each other. So he went to them and said, “Hi guys, can somebody be my friend? I don't have any friends to talk to and play with”. But the other boys were bigger than him. When the big boys saw him, they were laughing at him because he was so small and skinny. They were pushing Jacob and they were laughing at him. In every recess, the bigger boys would come to Jacob and they would be bullying him. He was so scared in school. When it was time to go home, he was excited. When he went home he felt safe immediately, because his mom and his whole family greeted him with a big hug. At home he felt loved, he felt comfortable and he felt that he mattered. He was so happy at home because his loved ones were there with him. He was sitting on the cozy couch and remembered memories of him and his big brother playing together in the backyard. So he wished that his big brother would finish his college studies and come back home. The next thing he sees is his brother surprising him with coming home early from his studies. They had a huge and warm hug and they chat and play games inside and outside the home. When he was sitting with his brother, he forgot all the bad stuff that happened at the school. As Jacob sat there, he thought to himself that home is the best place in the world. The End.
