What Home Means to Me

Home is a great place where you can be, when I’m home this is what I see: A couch to snuggle up and read, A roof above my head to shelter me. Food on the table for me to eat, This is what home means to me. Home is a place where I have fun and play, It’s where I sleep, dream, and where I stay, Home is comforting, I could stay there all day. The most special place for me is my room, It has a bed, a closet, a beanbag, and a washroom. Whenever I leave I know I'll be back soon. The living room is a gathering place. We talk and laugh for hours and days, With a couch, a carpet and lots of games. The kitchen can be like a magnet, with its stove, oven, and hard wood cabinets. When I try a recipe I need lots of practice. You see, I love my home, it’s a special place. Whenever I'm at home it puts a smile on my face. Whether they’re mean, or nice, or tell the truth, People need a house, a door, and a roof, Everyone deserves a home and you do too.
