My Home

A home is a place where love resides, not just a place with four walls. A house can be very luxurious and neat, but a home may not be as posh. A home is more than just a house, but some people may think they are the same thing, but a home is actually more than just a place with fancy decorations. My home has things that hold some memories. I love my stuffed animal, Steven, because he reminds me of when I first got my Christmas presents. I also love using my white blanket because it’s soft and fluffy. I also love drawing in my old math book because it has a lot of pages and memories inside. Lastly, I really love wearing my gray ice cream sweater to school almost every day because it reminds me of how loving and cozy my home is. I feel bad for people that don’t have a home, because they don’t really get to experience how amazing a home is. I wish one day I could magically give a home to whoever needs it, but I could not. I also feel bad for people that move a lot, because they can't settle in one place and call it home because they cannot really build up some amazing memories. I love my home, and I could not ask for something more. Whether I feel happiness or sadness in my home, I will be forever grateful that I have something that some people don't have, and that's why I thank Habitat for Humanity for giving a home to the people that deserve it. I also thank them for improving people's lives a lot. I could not express how thankful I am to Habitat for Humanity for helping many people. Thank you.
