The Meaning of Home

What does a home mean to me? What can it mean to you? First before we get into all that what is a home? well a home is a comfy and cozy place. There is a roof above your head to protect you from snow, rain or the sun. You can eat there, you can sleep and that is pretty much the short version of it, but when you really look at it there is much, much more! If you really start wondering about it, a home isn't just all that stuff it's a place filled with so much more love than you think it can be. Like an old house with lots of memories or a new one waiting to be filled. Sometimes you want to be around family and friends to talk and play games. Maybe other times you just need a place to be able to express yourself freely. It is a place where you can just have fun and be you whether you are older or younger, you should not feel the need to be a different person wherever you go, especially not at your home. You should not just feel like you are in a normal house like a hotel or a friends house, you should feel comfortable, happy, joyful and more. But it is definitely not mandatory to feel all these things every second of your life, you should be able to feel all sorts of things that is what a home is to me. That is the meaning of home.
