Meaning of Home

A home, to me, is like a stronghold for all our traditions—a place to live with loved ones and grow throughout life. By “stronghold,” I mean a place where we safeguard and preserve the traditions passed down from our ancestors, ensuring they continue through our family’s generations. A stronghold is a secure building, protected from outside threats—like a fortress with solid stone walls guarding its most treasured possessions. Home is also where we share life with the people that we love most—our family. My mother has raised me into the person that I am today, guiding me as I grow each year. Even when I eventually become an adult, I know she will always be there for me, in body or spirit. A home is much more than a place; it is a collection of moments, a place where love shapes us and who we become. Looking back on childhood, we’re able to see the journey we’ve been on and reminisce about the sentimental memories our home has graciously stored for us.
