The Meaning of Home

Home isn’t just a place. It's a place to feel safe and protected. Home is a place to be with your family and friends. Home is a place to be loved. It's a place to relax and have fun. Home is also a place to be welcome. Home smells like cats, dogs and soup. Home sounds like scratching, yelling and meowing. Home feels like fur, hair and wood. Home looks like paint, fluff and beds. Home tastes like food, water and candy. Home is a place to play and spend time with your family. Home is a nice place to live and sleep. I live in Victoria BC. I have lived here since I was born. I used to live in a house but because of a flood I now live in an apartment. I really like the apartment I live in now. Me and my cats love it here in Victoria.
