Home to Me

A house is a building, With walls, people, furniture, pets, tech and a backyard to play in. It’s a place where I feel safe. My place is where I feel safe, protected, not scared. My parents keep me safe. My dog makes me feel protected. My neighbourhood, My friends, My family, My home. A house is a structure, With Stone, Bricks, Glass, Wires, Light bulbs, Windows, Vents, Fans, Heaters, Water, Electricity, All these things power the home, and power life. A home with things, Love, Memories, Family, Pets, A piano that fills the room with music and joy. I am lucky enough to have a home with all of this stuff, I have never been to places without homes. My home has joy, Laughter, Love, A piano that fills the air with music and joy, My Family, My Friends, My parents, My brothers, My fish, and my dog. That is My Home!
