More Than 4 Walls and a Room

Home is a shelter where we live but some people think it's more than a shelter. I think home is a place where you feel safe, protected and welcomed. You don't get judged by what you do or what you say. These are some things that I would need to have in this situation to feel safe at home. You fight with family but you get along afterwards. It's where you get sick like my mom. She just finished chemo and is getting better by the day. Home is where you can heal. It's a place where you do family bonding like play board games and watch movies and get all snuggly on the couch. You have everything you need like food, water, positive vibes, family, pets and love. When my family gets back from a vacation, we all stop feeling homesick and get even more comfortable. If all houses looked the same, it doesn't feel like it is truly your home. Everyone’s home is different in some way. People without a home should have a home to feel safe and not scared.
