The True Meaning of Home

For some people, home is a shelter, a place where you live and have fun, but the time of learning the true meaning of home has just begun. House and home are two different things, just like two broken strings. A house is a shelter, a building where you stay, so you won’t sleep like a stray. Home is a place, a community where you belong, where your love feels very strong. My home just started with my dad, until my mom came here, which gave birth to a child so sincere. We had such a blast together, keeping our love as light as a feather. My parents would always raise their voice when I do the wrong action, I would always have a shocked reaction. I know they love me inside, so I can have the love they provide. I felt secure, loved and warm, in a shelter that can keep away the storm. As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread, we were supposed to stay home instead. When I couldn’t go out, I felt bored and tired, and when I draw, I always feel uninspired. When your home feels empty, you can fill it with love and serenity to make it non-empty! You should have a place to belong, so you can have a community prolong! Everyone deserves a home for all, it doesn’t matter if it’s big or small! Breah Grade 4
