Feeling of Home

Upon the walls of the house. I think I figured out what home means to me. On Monday when I wake up to the smell of my Dad’s special pancakes or when my dogs come to wake me up but I think I really found the true meaning. You may think about home as a roof over your head but I learned that home is a feeling. Not like walls, windows or a roof. Of course I am grateful to live in a wonderful and safe house but that’s not all I am grateful for. I am grateful for my home, the feeling of safety, family, and love. That is what I mean by home. What are the feelings of Home? The feelings of home are love, safety and family. It can also be food and culture, (it depends what you think about home though.) If you have tacos every Tuesday night for dinner you can call that a tradition but I don't mean order the food, I mean make it from home. Look up the recipe and try to make it with your family, (trust me it will taste way better than you think it will)! Home can feel safe because you are with your family or because you are by yourself but in your home where you know you are safe and protected. A house is different for everyone but how home feels, is the same; safe!
