A Home Is More Than A Building

A home to me is not just a building or a sculpture. It's a place where I feel safe, where I can be myself without having to worry about the outside world. Where I'm surrounded by people who don’t judge me for how I look or how I sound. A home is somewhere where I can say what I want and be who I want. A home is a place where you should not be judged for your sexuality or your gender. A house is more of the building or the outside while a home can be what's on the inside. A home is a place where you feel comfortable. A home ; “Home Sweet Home.” Not “House Sweet House.” I always feel better when I'm at home. I feel so relieved and happy. Like I said, I don't have to worry. I remember when I was at my friend's birthday party we were at a cabin for one day. I was getting really homesick. I felt like I was going to throw up. But when I got home I felt so much better. Maybe it's just because I'm clingy? Home is a place where I can go to get rid of any pain from school or anywhere else and just throw it all away. Home is a place where you can build a family. It doesn't matter what race you are - you are a family. A home is the best place to be. It's a place where you will never be judged for who you are. You are the best you that you can be. Never change that. A home feels like a part of my family because I've lived there my whole life. It's a place where you can play. I’d do anything to keep my home .
