The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a comfortable place where I live with my family. Not just a physical shelter, home is where we store great memories, personal mementos and traditional keepsakes, each with its own back story. Home is where I can return each day and know I can rest, relax, and be safe and cared for. Home is where my family and friends come over to spend quality time and to make new memories by celebrating together and having fun. Home is the people that I live with:my mother, father, and little sister. Be thankful that you have a home because without one, not only are you missing the comforts and basic necessities of shelter, but also the security and warmth of loved ones and happy memories. No matter how big or small, I am so thankful for having a place I consider home.
