My Home

My Home By: Kashvi Shrestha Hello my name is Kashvi Shrestha and I would love to help someone to have a home. You may have a house, but is it a home? A house and a home are two different things. A house is a place where people live whereas a home is a place where everyone is loved and cared for. It doesn't matter if the house is big or small, what really matters is the people inside it, your family. Every home is different. Some homes are big, some are small. Some people have two homes, some have one. Some families are big, some are small. Families are like snowflakes, they are different in their own special way. My home is different than yours, and yours different from mine. I have four people in my family, you may have more, or you may have less. I have one brother, you may have more, or you may not have any at all. I live in a townhouse, you may live in a single house, in an apartment or in a townhouse like my family! Sometimes, you go to your friend's house and sometimes say “I wish my house was like yours.” or “I wish my family was like yours.”, but have you ever wondered what their family was like when you were not there? They may act like a loving family when guests are over, but maybe they argue a lot, or they have fights with their siblings, who knows? You will never know unless you're in their shoes. Never judge a book by its cover Always remember, it’s not what your home looks like, what really matters is the people inside, your family.
