Millie's Home

Milly was a little girl and did not understand the world. She had lots of questions that were still not answered. She wanted to know why her friend Veronica’s home felt so empty and cold so she asked her mom about her concern. Milly’s mom replied, ”My dear Milly some homes are just different. Sometimes there is no feeling that you are welcome because the family may not be filled with happiness and love.” Milly slowly realized other things that happen in other families. Milly recognized that she was very lucky in comparison to other kids. She had a family that loved each other and a family that could afford necessities like food. Milly wanted to share the love of her home. Later that week Milly and her mom hosted a house party. Milly planned for everything to be perfect; she invited her family, friends and neighbours. Veronica came too. Everyone was super happy to be there. Milly wanted everyone to feel very welcomed. Veronica told Milly how happy she was to be welcomed into her home. Milly’s mom was proud of Milly and gave her a great big hug. As everyone started to leave Milly helped her mom clean up, after she went to bed she was super tired and slept.THE END!!!!
