A house is not a home

A house is not a home, and if you think they're the same thing then you're wrong. A home is where I have a loving family, but a house is just a building. A house is just a building with four walls and a roof. My home is where I feel safe, I feel safe in my home because I have people who I can trust and be myself around. But a house isn't like a home, yes there’s furniture, but it's not where you would have a family and feel comfortable. Home makes me feel welcome and belong, because I’ve bonded with my home. Also in a house you don’t have a lot of memories, but in my home I have multiple memories with my close friends and family. In my home I have so much fun! Because I play games with my siblings and when I’m having fun with the people I love, I’m happy. You can have fun in a house but it can be lonely. Sometimes in a house it might feel cold, sad,or uncomfortable, but in my home I feel happy, safe, and comfortable. Some people might not feel the same way in their home but I’m sure they would find a way to feel happy in their home with their family!
