The Meaning of Home
Home is more than just a physical space, it's a place filled with love, joy, laughter, and comfort. It's a sanctuary where you feel warmth, security, and a sense of belonging. A home is where you're surrounded by good memories, like the smell of freshly squeezed oranges or warm homemade cookies. But home isn't just about happiness and love, it's also about having the freedom to be yourself and the ability to do what makes you feel complete. When I'm at home, I feel protected, joyful, and truly safe. I’m grateful for everything that comes with having a home, a roof over my head, clothes on my body, and food to nourish me. To me home is like a place that can never be replaceable. In my home when I see my parents I feel comfort, joy, embraced, peace and protection, and when I see my siblings I feel happiness, love and joy. When I see my bedroom, living room and kitchen I feel truly thankful. I am truly grateful for having all of these opportunities because not everyone has a home just like me and my family. Some people are poor and do not have so many opportunities just like me and my family do. People who are poor might have feelings like shame, anger, hopelessness and much more.
This is what home means to me.
