When you ask people what home is, some people would tell you that home is a building with a roof on top. Some people would say that home is a place where you live and sleep. Still, others would tell you home is a place where you feel safe and be yourself.
So I wrote this to tell you what home means to me. Home is a place where you and your loved ones connect, share memories, make new ones, and reminisce about old ones. Home is a place where you can feel comfortable and at peace with the world. Home could also be a place where you can rest after a long, long day.
There is a difference between a house and a home. A home could be the emotions that you feel or the life lessons you learn and use to be successful or a place where you just feel like you. A home could be all this as well as a building. Meanwhile a house is just a building you can live in.
Home is a place filled with joy and laughter. I think home is a place where you celebrate traditions too, for example Chinese or Lunar New Year.
But I want to ask you: what does home mean to you?
Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for giving people who can't afford a house a chance to have one.
