What Does Home Mean to Me

Home is not just where we eat and sleep it is where memories are shared and games are played. The cozy pleasant bed at night is where we dream, and when we wake up is when the loving words are spoken by my parents, and the delicious pancakes are eaten as my stomach is filling and a smile grows. When I am done I go play with my energetic puppy outside. The air in my face makes me feel free, then when I grab the ball and throw it he chases the ball as fast as he can, we play all morning until my mom calls in for lunch. My stomach rumbles and tells me I am thirsty and hungry. As I eat I feel thankful that I have yummy food to eat and loving parents and the cutest puppy. When I am done me and my family sit on my warm and cozy couch and watch a movie then my dad makes popcorn with the pleasant smell of butter. As it touched my lips and melted when it was done. At supper time we had tacos, the crunchy taste of taco shells and juicy meat. When I was done I went to bed and started a new day. I am so thankful that Habitat for Humanity is here because it helps people find a place to call home.
