My Home

If home were a sight, it would be the shadow of trees against the beautiful sunrise. If home were a sound, it would be the sound of people huddling up on the couch for a cozy treat. If home were a smell, it would be the smell of freshly cooked waffles on a cozy Friday morning. If home were a taste, it would be the taste of ice cream melting on my tongue. If home were a touch, it would feel soft and cozy. Home is a safe place, it is a special place, it is where you live, it is something you love. It is like when you get home from school and you jump on the couch for a movie, it is when you are exited to get home. It is the warmth of your bed when you wake up, it is where you want to be, it isn’t just four walls, it is a cozy warm sanctuary where you are safe. That is what my home means to me.
