Home is where I belong Where my family spends time together. Home is where we laugh and Make memories. Home is where I know That I am safe Happy And loved. Home is where my sister and I Play together Read And share jokes and stories. Home is where I write Pouring out words From my imagination. Home is where I imagine Fantastical adventures And ‘what ifs’. Home is where I read Travelling to new worlds Without going anywhere. Home is where I celebrate holidays Birthdays, Christmas, Easter And dress up on Halloween. Home is where I am myself No matter what others think. Home means a lot of things For different people. Some people don’t have a home To share with family. To laugh in. To play in. I hope That this poem makes a difference. That it helps others Find their home And make happy memories. Everyone deserves a Home.
