The Meaning of Home
Today I’m going to tell you what I think the meaning of home is.
A home is a place of fun and pleasure where you can grow and thrive at your own pace. It might take you long or short to grow but our family loves us no matter what. Some days your home of fun and pleasure may be covered in a thick cloud, but there is always a light shining through, that light, is family who will makes things fun again on our ups and downs.
A home is also a place of comfort and love that will dance around us for decades upon. A home makes us feel covered in a shield that makes us feel safe protecting us from bullets of pain. Of course, the best part of home is the wonderful family that you have wherever we go in life! However, if your family is dangerous to you every day, that house is not home. It is more like a thunderstorm of sadness.
Now you may wonder, “do you need a house to call it home?” No, you don’t need a house to call home. For example, you could have a mansion bigger than a school with a river like swimming pool! But if you feel lonely and downhearted, that’s not home. It’s more like an empty dark room. A home can be anywhere! For example, it could be a treehouse, a cave, a tent, or just under a tree! I feel at home when my mom and dad tuck me in bed. A home also doesn’t have to be with family. It could be with friends or just by yourself. As long as you’re happy.
That’s what I think is home.
