What Home Means to Me?
Home is where I laugh and play,
Where Mom and Dad brighten my day.
A place of love, a place of cheer,
With Sister’s laughter always near.
Watching TV with Dad at night,
His jokes and stories make things bright.
Tasting the yummy food Mom makes,
Warm and sweet like chocolate cakes.
Sitting on the couch side by side,
Racing with Sister, eyes open wide—
Who will finish the book so fast?
We giggle and cheer until the last.
It’s not just walls, a roof, or floor,
But hugs and smiles—so much more.
No matter where I choose to roam,
My heart will always call it home.
