What Does Home Mean To Me? By Ali So everyone definitely needs a home and about 2 million people need a home in Canada and that's very sad because a lot of people have jobs in Toronto and other big cities and those cities are very expensive. People have to work overtime just to have enough money to have a livable life and that leaves no money for food, clothes and Furniture .Everyone needs a home and Everyone deserves a home. Housing is a very big problem even for people that have a home but a lack of food or clothes they might have problems. A home should be a livable, nice and fun place to be at. Homes are cool, they are where you live to make memories. People that don’t have a cool home are sad . Not only does this country have problems with homeless people, there are other countries too. I love my home but this housing problem is crazy like people need food, money and other needs, not just homes. These family traditions are what makes my home a home. Every month me and my two other sisters would play Cute Cafe. Cute Cafe is a game where we pretend to open up a restaurant and since we have so many plushies those were the customers and the old playhouse we had was the restaurant and it would be a lot of fun.. Sometimes we would all play one singular game called “block blast” and we would do a competition to get the highest score. We also have a tradition that every summer for a few days we would go on a walk (usually when there's something cool) . It is usually me and my dad but sometimes my whole family would go on a walk. This is why houses and homes aren’t the same because houses aren’t special. You would always see them everywhere but there is only one special home and that is your home. That's where you live to make memories and make your life. You will of course switch houses/homes maybe because your house has problems but a home never has problems. So if you have fun in your house you could call it a home. In a house there is a kitchen but in a home there is a kitchen with people having fun cooking. A house will always be physical but a home will be sometimes mental. Homes will change, houses won’t. I love homes, my family and I will make memories that we will never forget, even fun things or even random things. But if you see a random house you will probably forget the house, you might live in a house but you will always live in a home. What I think is a home, so what I think is a home is that you should love it, so you will probably feel safe in your home with your family and you will feel cozy and nice in a house with the people you love. I think you should love a home, not just hate it. If you hate a home it isn’t a home it is just a house or an apartment or any other shelter. But a home is a place to make memories and learn simple things with your parents even with your siblings. A home is a place to have fun, simple and nice things. A home should be a place where you play with your family or talk to your family just to feel nice and calm, if you love your home it's your family and your shelter. Your first home will be with your parents and siblings and that’s what makes a home. Your home is the best! A home is where you feel nice and play with your family and make memories even outside your house you will still make memories. It is just like you feel at home at times. A house should be good with your family no matter what. So now my memories that I went through so my first one is that I remember that I played With my first account on Roblox but now I had to change it countless times but now i finally have my main account and on my first account “Foxy22ok” yes a weird name, I played game called “Touch Football” and i had a lot of fun playing I also sometimes played with my sister. I also remember that my family would have to talk and do some stuff and be funny at about 8pm and it was funny but now it’s rare for us to do it because it's not great because of our parents not liking it. On the new year we were able to stay up to see the new year and we had a countdown and it was great. I love to have fun. This memory is when we had a lot of plushies and we would play School Time or Mommy Mommy Daddy Daddy and School Time was a game where I would be a teacher and the plushies and my younger sister would be the students and then it was just like real school. Mommy Mommy Daddy Daddy is a game where my younger sister and I would be the parents and the plushies would be the kids and it would be just like the real parents and the kids making a family.
