Living in Canada is such a blessing; Here the homes have all the necessities, Living here gives less complexities Here the community has much heart This however, is just the start Back in Pakistan, electricity, heat and water can be hard to find In Canada, the quality of life can be designed; Here my dreams are supported, to move toward who I want to be, Although we keep our traditions like having evening tea Here who I am has many options; Like taking a picture and making my own caption I love the friendships I am able to form here Although it’s hard not having any extended family near I’m glad they immigrated here they made the right choice Living here is great, I get my own voice I am so grateful for a safe home; For food to eat, for heat, for electricity Here I have met so many I’d never want to forget Because me and my friends make quite a set For this, I hope to bring a boundless spirit that will never be resting And that is why living in Canada is such a blessing
